On the home front, we have been working on our Summer Bucket list. So much to do, so little time. I work away from home and am gone an average of 10 hours each week day, so we will attempt to cram as much fun time into each day as possible. Kayla IS GOING TO PASS her driver’s test tomorrow and then we can plan many activities for her and the children to enjoy while I am at the office.
So far on our list is Kennywood Amusement Park (when Thomas the Train is opened), miniature golfing, a visit to the Pittsburgh Water Steps, the Three Rivers Arts Festival which begins TODAY, the Dependable Drive-In (this is a personal favorite), Summer camp (for Elliot), trips to the zoo and museums, and a whole bunch more.
|Playing at a Schenley Park (new to us)|
Over the Memorial Day weekend we worked on the front/back yards and porches. We picked up sand for the sandbox, planted a few flowers, filled a little play pool. Our own little form of paradise.
|Gonna take alot of work to make this|
look like Paradise!
What plans do YOU have for this summer?
